Commerce Data Service
Built in the spirit of America's entrepreneurial technology ventures, the Commerce Data Service is a start-up within government, that consists of diverse team of top-notch designers, developers, software engineers and data scientists. Through partnerships with the twelve bureaus that make up the Commerce Department, the Data Service will deliver products and services to help government agencies better deliver information to their customers.
The International Trade Center
The International Trade Center (ITC) has developed five online tools – Trade Map, Market Access Map, Investment Map, Trade Competitiveness Map and Standards Map – that collectively help improve transparency in international trade. The tools enable companies and trade support institutions to identify export and import opportunities and compare market-access requirements, and they help policymakers monitor national trade performance and prepare for trade negotiations.
The Observatory of Economic Complexity
The MIT Observatory of Economic Complexity makes international trade data and economic complexity indicators available through millions of interactive visualizations.
Free access to detailed global trade data. UN Comtrade is a repository of official trade statistics and relevant analytical tables. It contains annual trade statistics starting from 1962 and monthly trade statistics since 2010
The Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) COMSTAT is an online interactive database designed to disseminate statistics of various domains that are critical for monitoring the performance of COMESA's regional integration program.
EAC Trade Helpdesk
The East African Community (EAC) Trade Helpdesk is a tool for users to query EAC trade statistics (imports and exports) by country of origin and destination, applicable tariff and trade regulatory requirements (applicable rules of origin and non tariff requirements). The time series starts 2004 and the data is update on monthly and annual basis based on submission from EAC Partner States.
Established in 2006 under the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP), the Regional Strategic Analysis and Knowledge Support System (ReSAKSS) supports efforts to promote evidence and outcome-based policy planning and implementation. ReSAKSS provides data and related analytical and knowledge products to facilitate benchmarking, review and mutual learning processes. It is facilitated by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), in partnership with the African Union Commission (AUC), the NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency (NPCA), and leading regional economic communities (RECs).
